JDRF Announces New Multi-Year Partnership with ERinfo
ERinfo partners with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in multi-year partnership to educate the T1D community on the importance of having a medical alert service and being prepared for emergency situations
Miami, FL., March 12, 2021 – JDRF, ERinfo and FirstNet work together to support the T1D community.
JDRF is proud to announce a new partnership with ERinfo, a unique medical alert service that provides medical first responders access to your information through a direct connection to FirstNet®, the only nationwide, high-speed broadband communications platform dedicated to and purpose-built for America’s first responders and the extended public safety community. ERinfo provides patient recognition and emergency notification to help improve patient outcomes and reduce treatment times.
ERinfo’s patented technology uses facial recognition to match a field image taken by a medical first responder with your emergency information. Following a rigorous review process, ERinfoPro for FirstNet® is now FirstNet Certified™ and accessible via the FirstNet App Catalog.
FirstNet – America’s public safety communications platform – features the first-ever App Catalog geared to first responders, featuring more than 150 apps relevant to public safety’s mission. This gives FirstNet subscribers a dedicated location to find meaningful new solutions that have been specifically reviewed for use with FirstNet services.
Achieving a FirstNet Certified™ designation means ERinfoPRO for FirstNet® is a heavily vetted and trusted solution for public safety, meeting FirstNet app requirements. Before any mobile solution can be added to the FirstNet App Catalog, it must pass stringent third-party tests for security, relevancy, data privacy and availability, as well as review by the App Review board which includes the First Responder Network Authority. As a FirstNet Certified™ app, ERinfoPRO for FirstNet® has been confirmed to meet those requirements, as well as higher requirements for mobility, scalability and resiliency.
JDRF and ERinfo are working together to educate the T1D community on the importance of having a medical alert service and being prepared for emergency situations. Learn more about ERinfo at ERrinfo.me or sign-up using the 15% JDRF discount (“JDRF15OFF”) here.
